Joining the Thomond Park Stewards’ Club
Joining the Thomond Park Stewards Club couldn’t be easier! If you are a Thomond Park Steward, just email the club’s Secretariat at rachel.flaherty@ie.g4s.com for an application form. Once complete, you will have access to the Thomond Park Stewards’ Club Newsletter, and receive alerts of up-coming events at the stadium. You can also join in and submit your comments or queries to the Club. It’s your way of keeping informed on all the latest news and upcoming events. 

The History of Stewarding at Thomond Park
As long as there have been matches played at Thomond Park, there have been Thomond Park Stewards. These stewards help ensure that all patrons have an enjoyable and safe experience at the famous grounds. Many stewards before the redevelopment of Thomond Park are still with the Stadium today, sharing their experience and dedication with the younger generations.

• What are the main tasks of an event steward?
Health and Safety is a very important task of an event steward. You must be very aware of your surroundings, and be able to identify any risks or hazards to the safety of the general public. Crowd control plays a part here, the safe management of fire exits and crowd capacities are also crucial. You are also responsible for helping the public with their general queries, and assisting them with their safe and pleasant access and egress of the stadium.
